Notice 001 / The founding position

A statement of being unassociated.

There is a peculiar expectation that belonging requires an explanation. A shared opinion. A recognizable type of person. A willingness to introduce yourself to the room.

We would like to propose less.

No Association Association is a place to recognize something in common without agreeing to become the same. The name is a contradiction. The idea is fairly straightforward.

Good company. Independent opinions. Participation when it suits you.

Notice 002 / Administrative clarification

On the subject of attendance.

Your absence has not been noted. No explanation will be requested.

We believe that an invitation should remain an invitation. Something you can accept because you want to, not because declining requires a convincing account of your evening.

Show up. Stay home. Change your mind. We are not keeping minutes.

Notice 003 / Issue 001

No uniform required.

A garment can say something without becoming a dress code. That is the starting point for our first collection.

Issue 001 begins with two graphic ideas: the full association name and the words Officially Unassociated. The rest should be considered, wearable, and worth keeping.

The collection is still in development. We will share the actual garments, fit information, and availability when those details are ready.
